Answer

The transport of nutrients required for the breakdown of food for energy and other processes is called transportation.

In human beings transportation is done by a well defined circulatory system. CO2, O2 and other essential nutrients are transported by blood.Blood takes the O2 from the lungs to the heart and other organs and releases the CO2 in the lungs used up by the organs.
