The production of a new organism from a single parent without the involvement of sex cells (or gametes) is called asexual reproduction.
The two methods of asexual reproduction are :: --
1) Budding → In this, a part of the organism bulges out and slowly and slowly it grows and developes into a seperate individual.
Example -- Hydra ; Yeast
2) Binary Fission → In this, a single cell divides into two halves.
Example -- Amoeba ; Bacteria
