The two parts of crust, the outer and thinner-most part of the Earth are Oceanic crust and Continental Crust. This classification is based on chemical composition.

While the main mineral  constituents of the Oceanic crust includes silica and magnesium, the mineral constituents of Continental crust are silica and alumina.
