The Government may run a hospital because there are many poor people who can't pay the fees to the government.

Pharma/drug companies cannot give a higher price for the Veterans hospital (they get the lowest price compared to the public). There is an advantage for government-run hospitals.

The reasons why a government may run hospitals are -

  • The government should run a hospital to provide basic health facilities to its citizens and natives which is the most basic need at this hour in our country.
  • When not-for-benefit emergency clinics are run by the government that address financial issues in the networks they serve, they assist occupants with managing the cost of medical coverage, lessen costs because of preventable and ongoing circumstances, and back their own labour force needs.
  • An administration will need to run a hospital in light of the fact that the economy could have numerous destitute individuals and will need to lessen the passing rate.
