The two-state solution refers to a solution of the Israeli–Palestinian conflict which calls for "two states for two groups of people." The two-state solution envisages an independent State of Palestine alongside the State of Israel, west of the Jordan River.

Israel-Palastine conflict is one of the long lasting conflict in history.

According to two state solution. West bank or Jordan will be declared as state of Palestine while rest of land excluding gaza of old Palestine will be declared as Israel.

But Palastenians are not in agreement with it. They view it as a move to take control over their land. Conflict still continues.

As againist this, some say one state solution is better. Either whole Israel state or Palastine. But this can lead to huge conflict.
