explain types of chromosomes metacentric, sub metacentric, Afrocentric, telocentric

They can be connected in eithermetacentric, submetacentric,acrocentric or telocentric manner. These are X-Shapedchromosomes,have centromere in the middle so that the two arms of thechromosomes are almost equal. If arms' lengths are unequal, thechromosome is said to besubmetacentric.
