↪ The first step taken towards the unification of Germany was the Left bank of Rhine that was captured . This took place in 1797 .

↪ Then the next was the battle of France initiated by Napolean Bonaparte .

↪ In 1871 , Germany was fully unified .

↪ Germany included the people speaking in German .

↪ The man who played the best role in the unification was Otto van Bismarck .

↪ Otto Van Bismarck was known as the Iron Chancellor .

↪ The defeat of Austria , Prussia and France finally led to the unification of Germany in the year 1871 .
