After the liberal revolution of 1848, king of Prussia realised that they couldn't be able to suppressed the liberals for more time. So they thought to unify germany through military. And Otto Von Bismark was elected for this. He fought wars for 7 years with France, Austria and Denmark. The war resultant with the victory of Germany. And Germany was unified.
