Upstroke & downstroke :-

Upstroke is a mechanism which helps to raise the plunger and downstroke helps to help lower the plunger.

Upstroke and Downstroke movements in Birds :-

Downstroke :- When the wings push down during flying , the feathers stay close together and do not let air move between them.

Upstroke :- When the wings are pulled up , air is able to move between the feathers.Birds bend their wings during the upstroke to move them through less air.Birds bend their wings during the upstroke to move them through less air.

WHEN THE WINGS ARE MOVED DOWN AND FORMED LIFTING THE BODY IN THE AIR , THR MOVEMENT IS KNOWN AS UPSTROKE.

UPSTROKE

WHEN THE WINGS ARE LIFTED UPWARD IN PREPARATION FOR ANOTHET DOWNSTROKE , THE MOVEMENT IS ALSO KNOWN AS UPSTROKE .
