vacuole is the membrane bound cell organelle present in cytoplasm.

it is bound by single membrane called tonoplast.

in plant cell it occupy 90percent of volume.

it contains water, sap, excretory product and other materials.

in amoeba the contractile vacuole is important for excretion.
