A country chose a party system depending upon the nature of the society, it's social and regional divisions, it's history of politics and it's systems of elections.it's a long and time taking decision.

In India, analysis shows that the party system which best fits in the frame is the multi-party system. This is done because the social and geographical diversity in such a vast country can't be easily absorbed by 2 or even 3 parties.

The multi-party system allows a variety of interests and opinions to enjoy political representation. It also gives people a CHOICE to chose their leaders which is very important in a democracy. Mutli-party system ensures that power is not concentrated in one hand. A multi-partypolitical system is beneficial for indiabecause it cuts down on corruption. A multi-party system gives an option of having multiple ideas to improve the nation.
