immovable joint: these joints are also called fibrous joins because the bones are connected by fibrous tissues. these are fixed and do not move. ex: joint of Skull

slightly movable joint: In these joints, surface of bones are separated by an intervening substances and only slight movement is possible. ex: vertebrae of spine

freely movable joints: these joints are also called Synovial joints.these joints include most of the joints of body.

ex: wrist joint
