Dipole-dipole interactions:-

Attraction between polar molecules. Positive of one molecule l attracted by negative pole of another.

Ex:- Attraction between HCl molecules.

Dipole-induced dipole interactions:-

→ Attraction between molecule having permanent dipole moment and a non polar molecule. Polar molecule induces polarity on non polar molecule.

Ex:- Noble gases get polarized in the presence of polar molecules.

Dispersion forces or London forces or induced dipole-induced dipole interactions:-

→ Attraction between non polar molecules. Polarity induced on the non polar molecules as electron of one attracts nucleus of another and repels electron cloud.

Ex:- Attraction between noble gases.
