Vascular Bundle : Vascular bundle is a kind of bundle which consists of xylem and phloem tissues. The phloem transports sugar and any other photosynthetic products to the parts of that plant that need it and Xylem transports water and minerals.
Function of vascular bundle :
1) To carry elwater and dissolved food materials from root to stem and leaf.
2) To carry prepared food material from leaf to different parts.
3) To give mechanical support to plant.

vascular bundle helps in transportation .it is mainly of two types:they are xylem and pholem.
xylem: it consists of four elements they are:
1:vessels: vessel is a cylindrical tube like structure. it is non living cell with lignified walls.they generally possess pits.
2:tracheids:they are long, tubular dead cells with wide lumen and tapering ends.the cell wall is thick lignin.
3:xylem fibres: they are non living cells with very thick lignin.they have narrow lumen.
4: xylem parenchyma:they are living cells with cellulosic cell wall. they help in storage of starch.
PHLOEM: it consists four elements, they are:
1:sieve tubes: sieve tubes have vacuolated cytoplasm and lacks nucleus.
2:companion cells:they are associated with sieve tubes.they have dense cytoplasm and prominent nucleus.
3:phloem parenchyma: they help in storage and slow lateral conduction of food.
4:phloem fibres: they provide mechanical support to the tissue.eg:jute, hemp etc.,
these answer may help u so much.
