Viscosity is analogous to friction in solids. In liquids, as the temperature increases, the liquid molecules gain heat energy some of which are converted to kinetic and vibrational energy. As the movement of liquid particles increases, the viscosity decreases. So by increasing temperature, viscosity of liquid decreases.
