Water cycle is a natural phenomena in which the water flows through all the domains of earth i,e.,

lithosphere,hydrosphere and atmosphere. It occurs also throughout the year.

Explanation:

The water in the oceans and the other water bodies evaporate to form vapour and these inturn form clouds. This happens due to the sun. The water then turns back into liquid water (condensation) and falls back on the earth in the form of rain or snow (precipitation). Gravity also plays a major role during this stage of the process. The water is then collected in oceans,seas etc.

An amusing thing to note that the water that falls today,may be the water that has fallen last week,last month,last year or even hundreds of years before.

This cycle is indeed a big one
