The water cycle is an uninterrupted cycle where water vaporizes, journeys into the air and becomes part of a rain cloud, drops down to ground as rainfall or snow and then vaporizes another time. This recurs all over again in a continuous cycle.   Rainfall, hail and snowfall produce an overflow that moves over the exterior of earth and assists to cover ponds and streams. It also infiltrates or descends sliding through holes in the soil to refill permeable rocks under the earth.

Ocean is the biggest store house of water. Evaporation involves the conversion of liquid and solid forms ofwater into vapour and later formation of clouds. Precipitation involves the rainfall, hail, snow, etc. Energy for the global water cycle is provided by sunlight, Biological water cycle is the interchange of water between abiotic and biotic components of the environment.
