Answer:

Western cyclonic disturbances mostly occur in north and north western areas of India . They mainly cause due to 300-600 latitudes in which there are winds which flow from the west. These disturbances travel through Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan to enter the Indian subcontinent. They bring winter rainfall to north and north western parts of India including Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. These disturbances are important for farmers in the north west because they grow Rabi crops which depend on this rainfall from the cyclone.
