Answer:

Sanskrit ” is the language for the entire mankind ! It is Global ! It has no limitations.

There are several subjects like : Vedah , Upanishat , Ayurvedah , Ashtangayogah , Jyotisham , Khagolashastram , Vastushastram , Ramayanam , Mahabharatam , Kavyani , Mahakavyani and a lot like these which are written in “ Sanskrit ” texts. And to study these literatures only learning “ Sanskrit ” is the option. This is the major benefit.!

Learning Sanskrit is not the end but the means to an end. A language is just a medium. In any language there are lots of stuff, good and bad. For example, if I learn English, that is a medium for communication. Now it's entirely upon me as to what texts I read. I may read sex stories or motivational quotes, I may read engineering books or medical books. In a language there may be stuff I don't like and there may be stuff I like.

The modern Indian languages have the potential to be the medium of all human activities in their respective native regions and no useful purpose is, therefore, likely to be served by the study of the “ Deva Basha”. Sanskrit studies are useful to research scholars in the field of comparative linguistics. There is no ban on the study of Sanskrit by anyone who is interested in learning different languages with their private efforts and money. The state governments will do well to do everything at their disposal to promote the study of the native language of their respective states. Proficiency in English is essential for those living in the non-Hindi speaking states of the country. The introduction of a uniform two-language formula ( native language of the state and English in non-Hindi states and Hindi and English in Hindi states ) throughout the country, is the need of the hour.
