Explain what happen when a drop of concentrated sugar solution is placed on rheo leaf peel mounted on glass slide. Name this phenomenon . Would the same if the rheo leaf was boiled before mounting

Generally,Rheo leaves are discoloured during boiling process. On further boiling, the cells will die. Though the sugar solution (hypertonic) is added on to the boiled Rheo leaves, there is no change observed.
