Answer:

Both AC and DC describe types of current flow in a circuit. In direct current (DC), the electric charge (current) only flows in one direction. Electric charge in alternating current (AC), on the other hand, changes direction periodically.

☆AC

___________

1) AC refers to Alternating current.

2) AC is Multi directional .

3) AC changes it's direction of current after half a cycle .

4) It is used to supply electricity to long distance.

5) AC is used in Motor , generator etc

6) There is a danger of getting a shock on touching a AC appliances as it contains both positive and negative charge together.

☆DC

_________

1) DC refers to Direct Current

2) DC is Unidirectional.

3) DC doesnot change it's direction after half a cycle .

4) It is used to supply electricity to short distance.

5) DC is used in Cell , Battery etc .

6) There is no danger of getting a shock as it contains positive and negative charge seperetly.

hope its help☺
