Density
Density of a substance is defined as the mass of the substance per unit volume.
Density = Mass/Volume
Unit of Density = Unit of mass/Unit of Volume
SI unit of Density = kg/m^3
CGS unit of Density = g/ml (As 1 cm^3 = ml)
But we generally use g/cm^3
Density is the characteristic property of a substance.
Density of a substance determines how densely the molecules of the substance are packed in a given volume.
