Symbiosis or symbiotic relationship means that two or more organisms have a certain relationship where they each perform different activities in such a way that all are benefited by this process .

For examples ,leguminous plants and  nitrogen fixing bacteria like rhizobium are in a symbiosis .

the bacteria convert atmospheric nitrogen into soluble form which helps the plants as nitrogen is a very important nutrient for plants .

in turn ,plants provide food and shelter to the bacteria .

This is symbiosis
