\Large\bold\star\underline{\underline\textbf{Quantisation of charge\:}}

→ According to quantization of charge,

The charge on a body is equal to an integral
of multiple of basic charge (±e).
i.e. q = ± ne
(where n = 1,2,3,4........................so on.

\Large\bold\star\underline{\underline\textbf{Conservation of charge\:}}

→ According to the law of conservation of charge , the algebraic sum of positive and negative charges in an isolated system, remains constant.

\Large\bold\star\underline{\underline\textbf{Examples\:}}

» Quantization of charge ,
i.e. q = ±ne

if , n = 1 (we know e = 1.6 x 10^-19 C.

q = ± 1e = ± 1 x 1.6 x 10^-19 C
= ± 1.6 x 10^-19 C.

» Conservation of charge ,

When a glass rod is rubbed with a piece of silk , glass rod acquires positive charge and silk is acquire equal negative charge. Thus , deep isolated system of glass rod and silk piece has zero net charge before and after rubbing.

Hope it helped u.
