a.(a) On Passing electric current through a solution , colloidal particles start moving towards oppositely charged electrode where they lose their charge and get coagulated .


(b) Scattering of light by the colloidal particles takes place and the path of light becomes visible



(c) The positively charged colloidal particles of ferric hydroxide sol get coagulated by the oppositely charged Cl− ions provided by NaCl
