Role of women in nazi society was modelled on the priciple of a largly male dominated society. Hitler declared women most important citizens , bu this was limited to only aryan women who breds desirable aryans.
They were taught that motherhood was the only goal to strive for they .they have been performing the duties of managing the household and being good wives
This was in total contrast the the role of women led to movements and fought fro the right to education and the right to equal wages as men. They could not be forced to marry against there will. They could also train for jobs, became artists or run small business schooling was made compulsory for them.
In french society :-
- all womans were classified as passive citzens.they didn't have voting powers.
- they worked as landresses, sold flowers, fruits and vegetables and worked as domestic workers.
- their wages were lower than those of men.
- they looked after the children did the cooking, fetched water and queeued up for bread.
- most women didn't have access to education or job training. only daughter wealthy parents could study at a convent after which they were married off.
hope this is helpful
thanks
