Unnatural offences (section 377)

Whoever voluntarily has carnal intercourse against the order of nature with any man, woman or animal shall be punished with imprisonment for life, or with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine.

Yeah....this has been the most googled IPC section in the year of 2018 XD..

Hmm....IPC section 377 was introduced in India during the regime of British Rule.

It criminalised UNNATURAL SEX( eg.. homosexual sex 'nd animal sex)

In September 2018, the Honorable Supreme Court of India dethroned section 377 and decriminalized homo sex(people of same genders do sex). But still animal sex(humans do sex with animals such as dog, cat, deer, goat, etc) is a highly punishable offense.

My personal opinion:

Yeah. .. education really changes ur perception on anything...

'nd I appreciate the Honorable Supreme Court's decision to dethrone this stereo-typed IPC section 377.

We all know that the we have complete freedom to select our partner. Yeah..so why can't they select partners of their same gender if they want to do so??

Being homosexual is not a bad thing.

One have their own perception, thoughts and likes...No one have the right to interfere in others' matters.

But....that doesn't mean one can forcefully indulge someone for homosexual activities.

That's still a crime.

Any type of sex, whether homosex or heterosex is right before the law only if both partners have consent to do so..

Else it will be treated as rape and the accused is supposed to get jailed.

Hope it helped u ☺️
