Answer:

Changes in the past history has obvious managed to heal the nation and at the same time  unite the people.

Explanation:

The moment we look at the past history, we can study that different nations around the world have at one time or the other, been ruled by some other more powerful nation. This is just not limited till here as more powerful nation that rules the weaker nation, also tends to exploit the other nation, its people, culture, resources and wealth.

We have seen a number of such examples where weaker nation, its wealth and people had been exploited. Africa and Asia (India) are good examples of such exploitation.

The moment these countries resisted the ruler country for its policies and regulations, they managed to gain independence from them.

The cost of independence had also been much greater for these weaker countries. For instance both India and Africa were under British rule for years. during this period both nations lost a lot of their wealth and human population.

Illegal practices were very much severe including slavery. So in order to get freedom, both countries had to unite with its own people. using a unified way to protest the British rule and non-cooperation movement, lead to the independence of these nations from British rule.

So it is certain that past history also managed to unite people with themselves and fellow citizens, irrespective of their caste, religion or gender. As the nations managed to overcome  the British rule, so it is also obvious that history managed to heal the deep scarves of these countries.
