Given :   47 * 19 * 11  + 19    is a composite number

To Find :   Explain why

Solution:

a composite number  is a number which have atleast one factor other than number itself and 1.

47 * 19 * 11  + 19

Taking 19 as common

= 19 ( 47 *  11 +  1)

= 19 k

Hence number is form 19 * k  where 19 and  k  ≠ 1  and  19k

Hence number has atleast 4 factors   , 1 , 19 ,  k , 19k

where k = 47 *  11 +  1

Hence 47 * 19 * 11  + 19    is a composite number
