a) A person falls down from a moving bus due to the phenomenon known as inertia of rest . Before the person jumps out of the bus , his body thinks that he is at rest but he is at rest w.r.t the motion of the bus and is not actually at rest . When he jumps out of the bus , he jumps out at a state of rest and so he falls .
