Explain why.
A. Aluminium cannot be used for storing NaOH.
B. A piece of Magnesium continues to burn in Sulphur dioxide.

A) aluminium is very reactive metal, so if NaOH is stored then both Al, NaOH will react

2 Al + 2 NaOH + 2 H2O → 2 NaAlO2 + 3 H

B) Because Magnesium has a great affinity to combine with O2 of SO2 rather than from normal air.

Mg + SO2 → MgO + S
