Explain why a balloon deflates quickly when you stick a pin in it?​

When the balloon is filled with air then the pressure of air is much more than the atmospheric pressure outside. When it is pricked with a pin it makes a hole in the balloon and the air from the balloon rushes out. But since the hole is a small one, therefore, the air gushes out and the balloon slowly deflates.
