When we touch a charged object, our body conducts its charges to the earth. That is why a charged body loses its charge, if we touch it with our hand. This phenomenon is known as electric discharge.

AS WE KNOW THAT EVERY THING FLOWS FROM HIGHER
POTENTIAL TO LOWER POTENTIAL,SO WHEN WE TOUCH A CHARGED BODY THE CHARGES FLOW IN OUR BODY AS THE CHARGED BODY IS AT HIGHER POTENTIAL AND WE ARE IN LOWER POTENTIAL SO AS CHARGES FLOW INTO US THE CHARGED BODY LOSES THE CHARGE.
