As we know that pressure =force /area
and when pressure is inversely proportional to area .If area is increased the pressure decreases. As a truck has a large amount of weight , if it has only 4 tyres the area will be less and the pressure will increase and the tyres will go deep in the ground so to avoid this a truck has 6 to 14 tyres where the area will increase and the pressure will decrease and it will be easy to drive a heavy truck.
hope it helps. pls mark as brainliest.

A heavy truck is fitted with six to fourteen tyres. These tyres increase the area of contact on which their weight acts and hence, reduce their pressure on the ground.
