liquid has a fixed volume as if you pour the liquid in a bowl of glass it will not change but it does not have a fixed shape as if we put in a bowl it takes the shape of the bowl and then if we put the liquid on a glass it will take the shape of the glass so it has no definite shape but it has a definite volume

because if we pour the water from one glass to another the water's volume will be same

and if we pour water from glass to bowl it will in different shape , because liquid hold them a little.
