HEYA FRIEND!!

A nail has a pointed end inorder to increase the pressure exerted by the nail over the suface.Because area and pressure is inversly proportional.When area increase ,pressure decrease and when area decrease ,pressure increase.
PRESSURE=FORCE/AREA
Since the objective of a nail is to increase the exerting pressure by it on the wall or whatever it may be ,its curface area in contact ,i.e., the tip's area should be less.Hence the tip of nail is pointed
