Explain why ahmedabad and kolkata can see the noon sun directly overhead in a year but not delhi

this is because the suns rays fall directly(perpendicular) on the surface only in the region in between the tropics, and beacuse both Ahmedabad and Kolkata lie in the tropical region they can see the noon sun directly overhead(perpendicular) in a year, but Delhi does not lie in the tropical region.
