Air, as we know it is gas. The particles are much farther apart from one another as compared to solids and liquids. Also it is able to fill its container completely due to high kinetic energy and negligible forces of attraction.
It is used to inflate tires because it completely fills the entire tyre and also it lower its density and make it light.
