explain why an aqueous solution of Ammonium Chloride is acidic in nature​? plz urgent

An aqueous solution of NH4Cl will contain ammonium and chloride ions. Water, on ionization gives H+ and OH- ions. These H+ ions react with Cl- ions and form HCl, which is a strong acid in aqueous medium.
