Bcoz in fresh water the density of egg is more than water ,so it sinks but in salt solution ,the salt has a much more density then the egg ,so it floats.
Hope it helps u out.

The ability of something, float in water or some other liquid is known as buoyancy.
The density of salt water is more than that of fresh water which results in more buoyancy.
The density of the egg is higher than the density of tap water, so it sinks.
When salt is added to the water, the saltwater solution's density becomes higher than the egg's, so the egg will then float.
