Explain why an electric bulb becomes dim when an electric heater in parallel circuit is made on.why dimness decreases after some time ?

An electric bulb becomes dim, when the electric heater is kept parallel to the circuit.

This is so because the sudden flow of current in the bulb reduces at the first instance.

Later on it is seen that it draws more current through the circuit.

⚫We know in our home, all electrical appliance are connected in parallel.

⚫In parallel combination, voltage remains same and currents divides.

⚫When we switch on electric heater or geyser, amount of the current flowing through the bulb decreases therefore bulb becomes dim.
