Equilateral means that, any of the two sides of a triangle are equal and the two afjacent angles are also equal.
Isosceles means that, all the sides of a triangle are equal and all the three angles measure 60°.
If the two angles of a triangle measure 60° and the two adjacent sides are equal, then the third angle measures 60° and the third side is also equal to that of the other two .It becomes an isosceles triangle. In such a way, an equilateral triangle is also isosceles .
