FeCl3 is an acidic salt which is formed by the reaction between a strong acid, HCl and a weak base, Fe(OH)3.
3HCl(aq) + Fe(OH)3(aq) --> FeCl3(aq) + 3H2O(l)
On the other hand, CH3COONa is a basic salt which is formed by the reaction between a weak acid, CH3COOH and a strong base, NaOH.
CH3COOH(aq) + NaOH(aq) --> CH3COONa(aq) + H2O(l)
Hence, a solution of FeCl3 is acidic in nature but CH3COONa solution is basic in nature.
