Explain why bending a wire does not affect the resistance

The resistance and conductance of a wire is determined by the geometry (shape) and material. ... Bendinga wire doesn't significantly alter the geometry - hence the number of atoms the electrons collides with or the spacing between the atoms. So there is no significant change to resistance.
