Explain why carbon can reduce copper oxide to copper but not calcium oxide to calcium.

because carbon is more reactive than copper so it displaces copper while it is less reactive than calcium hence it does displace calcium

Hey buddy here is ur answer carbon is more reactive than copper but less reactive than calcium and so it reduces copper oxide to copper but not calcium oxide to calcium.
