EXPLAIN WHY CARBONIC ACID GIVES AN ACID SALT BUT HCL DOES NOT

Carbonic acid is a diprotic acid. After neautralisation it is still consist of one H that can be displaced. On the other hand in HCl there is no more replaceable H. Due to this carbonic acid gives an acid salt but HCl does not give the same....
