explain why climbing a greasy pole is very difficult

the reason is that, we need friction to climb a pole but greas is a lubricant that means it reduces friction thus not allowing us to climb the pole............

climbing a normal Pole is very easy because of the frictional force that gives a support to climb up.

but if you apply oil to a pole surface becomes more smooth and regular and thurs decreasing the frictional force..

and that is the reason why you can't Climb a greasy pole
