Answer:

  • memory, or ROM, is a form of data storage in computers and other electronic devices that can not be easily altered or reprogrammed. RAM is referred to as volatile memory and is lost when the power is turned off whereas ROM in non-volatile and the contents are retained even after the power is switched off

Answer:

Hey dude......

1. ROM is the memory that comes with your computer that is pre-written to hold the instructions for booting-up the computer.

2. RAM requires a flow of electricity to retain data (e.g. the computer powered on).

3. ROM will retain data without the flow of electricity (e.g. when computer is powered off).

4. The TL;DR answer is that RAM is volatile and contents disappear when powered down, so a computer with only RAM would have be be kept powered up all the time.

5. ROM is “read only” so a computer with only ROM would not be able to manipulate or alter any data. If only it were that simple! RAM means random access memory.

Hope it helps you!!!
