Explain why could not swadeshi movement suceed in popularizing khadi

Swadeshi movement helped in succeeding khadi as while the Indians were boycotting British goods they need something Independent to stay apart from Britisher but can also maintain there resource so the swadeshi itself mean from ur country as cotton was used to making cloth ppl started to use something very effective and cheap ...cause we weren't that rich as then the wheel was introduced and the ppl started to make up there own cloth or homemade India stuff while boycotting British goods.hope it helped u

swadeshi movement was not suceed in popularizing Khidi because Khadi was made from indigenous material and was hand made.
Being very expensive poor people was not able to buy khadi.
