Sulphuric acid, hydrochloric acid and nitric acid are strong dehydrating mineral acids.
They have high affinity for water. That is why we are always adviced to add acid to water and not water to acid, as it may explode. This is the high affinity of acid for water molecule. That is acid always tries to combine with water molecule and gets diluted or form the corresponding stable anionic form of acid.
